Family run production installed in IRANCY for over four centuries and handed down from father to son. As was often the case in the past, wine production was only a part (2.5 Ha) of a farming enterprise which included many other activities. It was in 1970 that the family moved solely to the production of wine and today cultivates 18 hectares of vines.
Our production is predominantly Pinot Noir with a small part César, the grape variety introduced into Irancy during the roman period ans now synonymous with IRANCY AOC.
Our wines are generous, somewhat tannic when young and softening with age to give wines of great character which are at their very best between 5 and 10 years of age. They accompany all meats and cheeses very well.
-method of cultivation using the 'lutte raisonnée' method to preserve our soils and the character of our wines
– Manual grape harvesting only
– partial destalking
– long elaboration, minimum 36 months of which 12 months in oak casks
