L’innovation, l’originalité et la nouveauté constituèrent la recette du grand succès de cette fête. Notre tour revint en 2007, toujours avec autant de réussite. L’accession de notre appellation régionale en AOC Communale Irancy a été tout naturellement célébrée en 2000, et les 10 ans de cette valorisante promotion en 2010 !
Organiser et recevoir en janvier 2016 LA grande St Vincent tournante de Bourgogne est pour la population, les vignerons d’IRANCY et des alentours une suite logique et inéluctable des fêtes précédentes qui nous apportent une relative sérénité pour ne pas être effrayé par l’ampleur, le prestige et l’aura de la plus grande fête des vignerons de Bourgogne.[:en]The village of IRANCY has gone thorough a long apprenticeship of organising events so that we can at last welcome this 72nd Saint Vincent 2016 with at least some serenity and not too much fear in face of the enormous task ahead.
It started back in 1999 when some of the folks in the village, not necesarily wine producers, decided that it would be a great idea to extend the local festivities to include all 8 towns and villages of the Auxerrois region and to create a truly regional Saint Vincent. The innovation and originality of the event was a huge success and was repeated again in 2007.
Irancy has also celebrated another major event in its recent history. In 2000 we celebrated the AOC village status of Irancy and again ten years later Irancy through open its doors to welcome the greater public into the village to celebrate this major event.
So after a long apprenticeship, the villagers and wine producers of Irancy follow a logical progression in event organisation which allows us to welcome the most prestigeous event in the Burgundian Wine calendar to our village.[:]
